Attorney Patrick Block to Speak at OTLA Litigator Lunch

Posted By The Law Offices of Patrick L. Block, P.C. || 22-Apr-2014

Attorney Patrick L. Block is a native of Oregon and grew up in the Portland area. Licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington, he is an active member of the Oregon State Bar, the Washington State Bar, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice, the Medical Malpractice Litigation Group and the Birth Trauma Litigation Group for his work in the legal field.

In addition to representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice lawsuits, Attorney Block has served on various committees of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, of which he has been serving as the co-chair of the professional negligence section for the past three years and hopes to continue.

In support of his ongoing commitment to the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, on April 23, 2014, he will be speaking at one of the association's 2014 Litigator Lunches, themed "Back to Basics". Attorney Block will be presenting on " Depositions". This program will be the third in six presentations in the OTLA's Litigator Lunch Series.

About the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association

The Oregon Trial Lawyers Association is the only voice in the legislature that is dedicated to protecting the interests of citizens, and fighting to protect Oregonians' constitutional rights, including the right to a jury trial.

According to the OTLA, powerful forces have focused their efforts on undermining the civil justice system in the Oregon Legislature for more than 40 years. Over the past four decades, the OTLA has been a consistent voice which represents the interests of residents across the state of Oregon.

OTLA members such as Attorney Patrick L. Block must primarily represent plaintiffs in personal injury, employment, workers' compensation, civil rights, or business tort litigation. The OTLA provides members with the tools to be the best advocates for their clients, including cutting-edge continuing legal education seminars taught by the state's finest practitioners and nationally-known speakers.

The OTLA is the only organization in the state that puts on plaintiff-specific CLEs, many of which are available by webcast or MP3 download.
