About the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association
The Oregon Trial Lawyers Association is the only voice in the legislature
that is dedicated to protecting the interests of citizens, and fighting
to protect Oregonians' constitutional rights, including the right
to a jury trial.
According to the OTLA, powerful forces have focused their efforts on undermining
the civil justice system in the Oregon Legislature for more than 40 years.
Over the past four decades, the OTLA has been a consistent voice which
represents the interests of residents across the state of Oregon.
OTLA members such as Attorney Patrick L. Block must primarily represent
plaintiffs in personal injury, employment, workers' compensation,
civil rights, or business tort litigation. The OTLA provides members with
the tools to be the best advocates for their clients, including cutting-edge
continuing legal education seminars taught by the state's finest practitioners
and nationally-known speakers.
The OTLA is the only organization in the state that puts on plaintiff-specific
CLEs, many of which are available by webcast or MP3 download.
